QuokkaConnect Community & Safety Guidelines

Effective date: October 19, 2026

QuokkaConnect is for adults to consider events and plans with other members. We want interactions to be respectful, voluntary, and safe. These Guidelines apply to all content and interactions that QuokkaConnect makes available, including profiles, photos, invitations, member-created plans, chat, reports, and links. If a listed feature is not released, these Guidelines do not make it available.

1. Keep interactions respectful and voluntary

Do not harass, threaten, bully, shame, intimidate, stalk, discriminate against, or repeatedly contact a person who has declined contact or asked you to stop. Do not pressure anyone to attend an event, meet in person, share contact information, or move a conversation off the Service.

Respect members' visibility, blocking, and participation choices. Do not create a new account to evade a block or enforcement action.

2. Do not create safety risks

Do not threaten or promote violence, self-harm, terrorism, or dangerous or illegal activity. Do not share another person's precise location, contact details, private communications, identity documents, or other personal information without their permission. Do not impersonate a person or organization.

For in-person events and plans, use reasonable judgment, follow venue rules and applicable laws, and leave a situation that feels unsafe. QuokkaConnect is not an emergency service. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

3. Keep content lawful and appropriate

Do not post or send:

4. Reports and blocks

The Service provides unified Report and Block account-safety tools. You may use them for any concern involving the Service; they are not limited to a particular feature. Reports are delivered to admin@quokkaconnect.com. When submitting a report, include a description of what happened and, where available, the relevant account, event, plan, message, or link. Do not include passwords, financial-account information, or more personal information than needed to explain the concern.

5. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, remove, limit, or preserve content; restrict features; suspend or terminate accounts; and cooperate with lawful requests when we reasonably believe that action is necessary to protect people, investigate a violation, operate the Service, or comply with law. Moderation decisions are final and have no internal appeal, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Jack Cooksey and Alyssa Yang jointly own the moderation inbox. We aim to review reports within three business days. This is a target, not a guarantee of a particular outcome or resolution time.

We may retain reports and related information as described in the Privacy Policy, including for safety, security, legal compliance, and dispute handling.

6. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the content you submit and for your decisions about attending events, making plans, meeting people, or purchasing from a third party. Do not treat a QuokkaConnect recommendation, invitation, member profile, or moderation action as a guarantee of another person's identity, intentions, safety, or conduct.

7. Contact

Questions or reports may be sent to admin@quokkaconnect.com.
